So long as the Sixth District shares a radio channel with the Germantown district, involuntary assignments onto a non-rotating day and evening shift will not be made based upon an officer’s intoximeter skill. When the department learns that a separate radio channel will be assigned to the Sixth District, it will use its best efforts to assign Sixth District officers to the next available intoximeter training.
