Split Shift Premium. Employee shall receive an additional premium of two dollars ($2.00) per hour for all hours worked on a split shift. A split shift is defined as a shift that is regularly scheduled in accordance with this collective agreement and that includes one regularly scheduled interruption for purposes other than the employee’s meal break or the employee’s rest period. However, the foregoing shall not apply in cases where an employee requests to work on a split shift.
