Employee’s Responsibilities. State employees have responsibility for initiating discussion to identify and assess their own specific training needs, including but not limited to: • working in partnership with supervisors and managers to meet the agency, work unit, and their own training and development needs, and • actively searching for training opportunities within State service and elsewhere.
Employee’s Responsibilities. Employee agrees that unless specifically stated otherwise, during the term of Employee’s employment by D&B Management, Employee will devote Employee’s full business time and best efforts and abilities to the performance of [his/her] duties for the Company. Employee agrees to act in the best interest of the Company at all times. Employee will act in accordance with the highest professional standards of ethics and integrity. Employee agrees to use Employee’s best efforts and skills to preserve the business of the Company and the goodwill of its employees and persons having business relations with the Company. Employee will comply with all applicable laws and all of the Company’s and its Affiliates’ then current policies and procedures. Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary, if (a) Employee complies with the terms and provisions of D&B’s Code of Business Ethics, as the same may be revised from time-to-time and (b) Employee’s activities do not interfere with Employee’s obligations to the Company, then, during the term of Employee’s employment by D&B Management, Employee may (x) engage in charitable, civic, fraternal and professional activities, (y) give lectures on behalf of educational or for-profit institutions, and (z) manage personal investments, then, during the term of Employee’s employment by D&B Management, Employee may (x) engage in charitable, civic, fraternal and professional activities, (y) give lectures on behalf of educational or for-profit institutions, and (z) manage personal investments; provided that Employee shall disclose any conflicts of interest that cause Employee’s personal endeavors to be in material conflict with the business of the Company and/or its Affiliates.
Employee’s Responsibilities. 5.1 It is recognized that the employer is responsible for the safety, health, comfort and general welfare of the citizens, therefore, the employees recognize that they should be prepared at all times of the day or night to assist in carrying out the services of the Corporation.

Employee’s Responsibilities. 3.1 Employee shall serve as an executive vice president of both the ChoiceCare Parent and the ChoiceCare Operating Company. In such position, Employee shall be responsible for the management and supervision of Employer's operations within his area of responsibility and perform such other duties and responsibilities as shall be requested by the Chief Executive Officers or the boards of directors of Employer, including serving as a senior executive and/or board member of any affiliated company. For purposes of this Agreement, an "affiliated company" means any corporation (other than the Employer) which, now or at any later time, is part of an unbroken chain of corporations (i) that includes the Employer and (ii) in which each corporation in such chain either owns at least 50% of the total combined voting power of all classes of stock in one of the other corporations in such chain or has at least 50% of the total combined voting power of all classes of its stock owned by one of the other corporations in such chain.
3.2 Employee shall devote his full time and best efforts to his employment with Employer and perform diligently such duties as are required by Employer from time to time, which duties shall be consistent with Employee's position with Employer.
3.3 Without the prior written consent of the ChoiceCare Parent, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, during the term of this Agreement Employee shall not, directly or indirectly, render services of a business, professional or commercial nature to any other person or firm, for compensation or otherwise, except in the ordinary course of the business of Employer or any affiliated company. Notwithstanding the foregoing but subject to the following provisions, Employee may serve as a director or trustee of any company, on either a compensated or noncompensated basis, that is not a competitor of Employer or any affiliated company. Employee may retain any director fees, committee fees, stock options, restricted stock awards or other remuneration paid or given to Employee by any such company for such services as a director or trustee. Employee shall notify the ChoiceCare Parent of any appointment to a board of directors or board of trustees, and, notwithstanding the foregoing, Employee shall resign from any board upon the request of the ChoiceCare Parent, provided that the request has a reasonable basis. Employee’s Responsibilities. Each employee will be required to maintain the premises and equipment according to the University's recognized practices.
Employee’s Responsibilities. An employee:
1. Must not report to work, or be subject to scheduled duty while his/her ability to perform job duties is impaired due to on or off duty alcohol or drug use.
2. Must not use, possess, manufacture, dispense or distribute drugs or alcohol
a. in the workplace;
b. on City time;
c. in City vehicles or facilities except as defined in City's facilities use policies;
d. prior to coming to work, so that the employee's performance is impaired.
3. Must notify his/her supervisor, before beginning work, when drugs (prescription or non- prescription) may interfere with the safe and effective performance of duties or operation of City equipment. In the event there is a question regarding an employee's ability to safely and effectively perform assigned duties while using prescribed drug, authorization from a qualified physician may be required.
4. Must notify his/her department head of any criminal drug or alcohol statute conviction, for a violation occurring in the workplace, no later than five (5) days after such conviction.
5. A safety employee must notify his/her department head of all alcohol or criminal drug statute convictions, no later than five (5) days after such conviction.
6. Who thinks he/she may have an alcohol or drug use problem is urged to voluntarily seek free confidential assistance from the City's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselor. It is the responsibility of each employee to seek assistance before alcohol or drug problems lead to job related performance problems.
Employee’s Responsibilities. All Employees have the responsibility to treat each other with respect and not engage in harassing behaviour. All Employees are responsible for respecting the confidentiality of anyone involved in a harassment complaint.
Employee’s Responsibilities. 6.1 The Corporation and the employees of the Town of Whitby, to the best of their ability, have an obligation within their defined roles, to provide for the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens.
6.2 It is agreed that non-Union employees will not regularly perform duties normally carried out by members of the bargaining unit except in cases mutually agreed upon by the Corporation and the Union or in the event of an emergency.
