Stakeholders and Categories Sample Clauses

Stakeholders and Categories. Three broad categories were identified: Technology Producers, Technology Consumers and Externals. A number of stakeholders were then identified for each category, as follows: • Technology Producers These are the members of the COMPASS consortium who will be developing the methods and tools during the course of the project. Stakeholders identified are Methods developers, Tools developers, Disseminators and Researchers. • Technology Consumers This category gathers together the consumers or customers of the methods and tools. Stakeholders identified are Case study users, Roadmap exploiters, Tool vendors, System developers, Educators and the Science Community. • Externals The final category represents the wider community that has an indirect stake in the methods and tools developed in COMPASS. The identified stakeholders are Standards Bodies and Regulators, Reviewers, General Public, Related Projects and Funders. For the elicitation process, small groups were each given a number of stakeholders and asked to list relevant requirements and rationale for each stakeholder. The results of this process are listed in Table 1 to Table 4. Each requirement in the table is identified by a unique identifier referring to the stakeholder group, for example R- TOOL-0001 identifies the first requirement in the Tools Developer group. At this stage, not all requirements have an identified rationale (hence this column is not included for some tables) and there are some overlaps. The process of refining and removing duplicates will take place as identified in Section 3.3.
