STANDARD HOURS VARIATION. PART TIME EMPLOYEES Part time employees may be utilised to assist with additional work loads and to cover peak periods of business operations. Where the period is in excess of 4 weeks, a standard ordinary hours variation will be documented and agreed upon by the employer and the employee. Such additional hours will be paid at time for time and will accrue leave entitlements and superannuation, with the Council record of leave accruals adjusted at least quarterly. For periods of less than four weeks and at the discretion of the CEO taking into consideration Council’s business operations, an indoor Part-Time employee may negotiate to work the additional time as TOIL and the TOIL Guidelines as per Clause 4.1 will apply. STANDARD HOURS VARIATION. For periods in excess of four weeks, a part‐time employee may agree to vary their standard hours up to maximum of 37.50 standard hours per week, at their standard ordinary hourly rate of pay provided the agreement is entered into without duress and in writing using form no. 12‐62‐T27. For periods of less than four weeks, flexi time or call back clauses will apply.

  • Standard Hours of Work 4.2.1 The standard hours of work shall be defined as regularly scheduled twenty-four (24) hours per week or less averaged over each bi-weekly pay period.

  • Standard Hours (1) Except as otherwise provided, the standard workweek shall consist of five consecutive days from Monday to Friday, inclusive.

  • Standard Workweek Except as noted below the standard workweek for full-time employees consists of five (5) consecutive eight (8) hour days, Monday through Friday each week. Non-overtime hours and starting and quitting times for such employees shall be the same throughout the standard workweek. The standard workweek does not apply to the following:

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.

  • Normal Hours of Work 6.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight.

  • Standard Work Day The standard work day for non-shift employees shall be seven (7) hours exclusive of the meal period.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client. Where agreement is reached to work alternate hours, occupational health and safety principles will prevail. Proper health monitoring procedures will be introduced and suitable rosters clearly agreed prior to commencing work. Adequate supervision must always be provided. Matters on which agreement may be reached include:

  • Flexible Hours of Work 19.1 Flexible hours of work, or flextime, is a system designed to provide for the individual preferences and work habits of employees while at the same time ensuring the efficient operation of the Employer's service.

  • Basic Workweek The basic workweek for full-time employees shall be forty (40) hours, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour days. Commencing with their fifth (5th) week of employment, full-time employees shall receive forty (40) hours pay at straight time rates and shall work four (4) days, thirty-two (32) hours, including work on the statutory holiday, in a week in which one (1) statutory holiday occurs; three (3) days, twenty-four

  • Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Retirement Rate or eighty cents ($0.80), whichever is higher, to the Retirement Trust for each Medicaid-Funded Hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with seven-hundred and one (701) or more cumulative career hours and fifty cents ($0.50) for each hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with less than seven-hundred one (701) cumulative career hours. Medicaid- Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off hours, and training hours.
