Work on Fridays. (a) This clause only applies in circumstances where clause 37.5 – Leisure Time Protected applies.

Work on Fridays. (a) This clause may not apply on Projects where the Parties have agreed to implement a trial five (5) day working week.
Work on Fridays. The parties will endeavour to ensure that wherever possible normal productive work shall cease at the finish of ordinary hours on Fridays. This does not mean that no productive work can continue past this time and the parties will ensure that a sensible approach to this clause is maintained. That is, work will be able to continue if the work is necessary for the production schedule to be maintained or to ensure that other employees can be productively employed. Other circumstances where work will be able to continue include the following: to recover time lost due to excessive periods of inclement weather, matters not necessarily the fault of the employer which have led to the project being delayed or behind schedule, the requirement to meet the Principal’s work program and unexpected delays in the project due to scheduling of other works or supply of materials.
Work on Fridays. The parties will endeavour to ensure that wherever possible normal productive work ceases at the finish of ordinary hours on Fridays. This does not mean that no productive work can continue past this time and the parties will ensure that a sensible approach to this restiction is maintained. This means work may continue if it is necessary for the production schedule to be maintained or to ensure that other employees can be productively employed. Other circumstances where work may continue past the finish of ordinary hours on Fridays include the following:
Work on Fridays. (a) This clause may not apply on Projects where the Parties have agreed to implement a trial five (5) day working week. (b) The Employer and Employees will endeavour to ensure that wherever possible and subject to operational requirements, normal productive work shall cease at the finish of ordinary hours on Fridays. (c) Operational requirements that would require productive work to continue past this time include but are not limited to circumstances where such work will be able to continue if the work is necessary for the production schedule to be maintained or to ensure that other Employees can be productively employed. (d) Other circumstances where work will be able to continue include the following: to recover time lost due to excessive periods of Inclement Weather, matters not necessarily the fault of the Employer which have led to the Project being delayed or behind schedule, the requirement to meet the principal’s work program and unexpected delays in the Project due to scheduling of other works or supply of materials. Note 1: An Employee has the right to determine their representation (if any) in accordance with Part 7Employee Representation of this Agreement.
Work on Fridays. The Company and the Employees will endeavour to ensure that wherever possible normal productive work shall cease at 3.30pm on Fridays. This does not mean that no productive work can continue past this time where genuine consultation has taken place between the employees and the employer. That is, work can continue past 3.30pm on Fridays if the work is necessary for the production schedule to be maintained or to ensure that the other Employees can be productively employed.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Normal Working Hours Prevailing Wage Rate Projects: Work performed from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00
