Statistical cooperation. 1. Cooperation in this area shall have as its aim the development of an efficient statistical system to provide, in a rapid and timely fashion, the reliable statistics needed to support and monitor the process of economic reform and contribute to the development of private enterprise in Lithuania.
Statistical cooperation. Cooperation between the Parties shall primarily focus on priority areas related to the Community acquis in the field of statistics. It shall notably be aimed at developing efficient and sustainable statistical systems capable of providing, reliable, objective and accurate data needed to plan and monitor the process of transition and reform in Serbia. It should also enable the Statistical Office in Serbia to better meet the needs of its customers in the country (both public administration and private sector). The statistical system should respect the fundamental principles of statistics issued by the UN, the European Statistical Code of Practice and the stipulations of the European Statistical law and develop towards the Community acquis. The Parties shall cooperate in particular to ensure the confidentiality of individual data, to progressively increase data collection and transmission to the European Statistical System and, to exchange of information on methods, transfer of know-how and training.

Cooperation in this area shall pursue the development of an efficient statistical system to provide the reliable statistics needed to support and monitor the process of socio-economic reform and contribute to the development of private enterprise in the Republic of Tajikistan. The Parties shall, in particular, cooperate in the following fields: – the adaptation of the Tajik statistical system to international methods, standards and classification; – the exchange of statistical information; – the provision of the macro- and microeconomic statistics necessary to implement and manage economic reforms. The Community shall provide the Republic of Tajikistan with technical assistance for this purpose.

The Parties, in particular, shall cooperate in the following fields: — adaptation of the Kazakh statistical system to international methods, standards and classification, — exchange of statistical information, — provision of necessary statistical macro and microeconomic information to implement and manage economic reforms. The Community shall contribute to this end by rendering technical assistance to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Parties, in particular, shall cooperate in the following fields: — adaptation of the Georgian statistical system to international methods, standards and classification, — exchange of statistical information, — provision of necessary statistical macro- and microeconomic information to implement and manage economic reforms. The Community shall contribute to this end by rendering technical assistance to Georgia.

The Parties, in particular, shall cooperate in the following fields: Adaptation of the Kyrgyz statistical system to international methods, standards and classification, Exchange of statistical information, Provision of necessary statistical macro-and microeconomic information to implement and manage economic reforms. The Community shall contribute to this end by rendering technical assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic.

It shall also address the protection of confidentiality. The Parties, in particular, shall cooperate in the following fields: - Adaptation of the Azerbaijani statistical system to international methods, standards and classification; - Exchange of statistical information; - Provision of necessary statistical macro-and microeconomic information to implement and manage economic reforms. The Community shall contribute to this end by rendering technical assistance to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Community shall contribute to this end by rendering technical assistance to the Republic of Moldova.
