Common use of Statutory Holiday Entitlement Clause in Contracts

Statutory Holiday Entitlement. The Employer recognizes the following as statutory holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Remembrance Day Canada Day Christmas Day B.C. Day and any other day which may be proclaimed in British Columbia or by Federal statute.

Statutory Holiday Entitlement. The Employer recognizes Subject to the rest of this Article, employees are entitled to a Statutory Holiday with pay on the following as statutory holidayspublic Holidays: New Year's ’s Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Easter Monday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Remembrance Christmas Day Canada Day Christmas Boxing Day B.C. British Columbia Day and any other day proclaimed by the Federal, Provincial or Municipal Government to be a Statutory Holiday, or any other day which may be proclaimed designated by Council in British Columbia or by Federal statutelieu of the above named Statutory Holidays.
