Statutory Holiday Entitlement. A) In order to qualify for a paid statutory holiday, an employee must have worked for the Employer for a period of not less than thirty (30) calendar days preceding the statutory holiday and have worked or earned wages for at least fifteen (15) of those thirty (30) calendar days. B) Each employee will receive a day off for the following statutory holidays and any other general holiday proclaimed by the Federal or Provincial Government: New Year’s Day Good Friday Victoria Day Canada Day British Columbia Day Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Remembrance Day Christmas Day Boxing Day
