Common use of Statutory Leaves Clause in Contracts

Statutory Leaves. The Employer will comply with its obligations under federal and state law regarding leaves of absence, including but not limited to leaves of absence under the Pregnancy Leave Act, California Family Rights Act, California Paid Family Leave Act, the federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, California Workers’ Compensation laws, and the federal Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Act (29 U.S.C. §§ 84301).

Statutory Leaves. The Employer will comply with its obligations under federal and state law regarding leaves of absence, including but not limited to leaves of absence under the Pregnancy Leave Act, California Family Rights Act, California Paid Family Leave Act, the federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, California Workers’ Compensation laws, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the federal Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Act. An employee who meets the requirements will be granted family leave under the California Family Rights Act (29 U.S.C. §§ 84301)for care of a “domestic partner.”
