Common use of Storm Emergencies Clause in Contracts

Storm Emergencies. (a) Employees will be covered by the conditions set out in the University’s Storm Emergency Policy. (b) On “closed” snow days, Employees who are otherwise scheduled to work will be paid whether they come to work or not. (c) Employees who report to work and are deemed to be performing essential services on a “closed day” will receive, in addition to their regular wages, equivalent time off at straight time.
