STORM EMERGENCY POLICY AND PROCEDURE. The Employer has a Storm Emergency Policy and Procedure. STORM EMERGENCY POLICY AND PROCEDURE. The Employer has a Storm Emergency Policy and Procedure. Time off and compensation for Employees in the event of a storm emergency will be outlined in this policy. Further to Article 6.09(c) and (d) of the collective agreement, the parties agree to utilize a roster of arbitrators and a procedure for scheduling arbitrations, as set out below, for the duration of this collective agreement. The entire process will be reviewed during negotiations for a renewal collective agreement and, if the parties are in agreement that the process is working effectively, it will be continued. The Parties agree that the following persons will be asked to serve as a single arbitrator, on a rotating basis:

  • Policy and Procedures If the resident leaves the facility due to hospitalization or a therapeutic leave, the facility shall not be obligated to hold the resident’s bed available until his or her return, unless prior arrangements have been made for a bed hold pursuant to the facility’s “Bed Reservation Policy and Procedure” and pursuant to applicable law. In the absence of a bed hold, the resident is not guaranteed readmission unless the resident is eligible for Medicaid and requires the services provided by the facility. However, the resident may be placed in any appropriate bed in a semi-private room in the facility at the time of his or her return from hospitalization or therapeutic leave provided a bed is available and the resident’s admission is appropriate and meets the readmission requirements of the facility.

  • Emergency Procedures All residents and guests are required to exit the building during emergencies that require evacuation and follow instructions given by authorized University emergency personnel (e.g., Security Services, Emergency Response Wardens and Building Emergency Captains). Residents and guests FIRE PROCEDURES AND FIRE ALARMS: All residents and guest(s) are required to exit the residences at the sound of a fire alarm. In the event of fire, residents and guest(s) are required to follow instruction given by Fire Services personnel.

  • Emergency Procedure An employee may be immediately placed on an off-duty status (without pay) by the Employer, but remain on the rolls where the allegation involves intoxication (use of drugs or alcohol), pilferage, or failure to observe safety rules and regulations, or in cases where retaining the employee on duty may result in damage to U.S. Postal Service property, loss of mail or funds, or where the employee may be injurious to self or others. The employee shall remain on the rolls (non-pay status) until disposition of the case has been had. If it is proposed to suspend such an employee for more than thirty (30) days or discharge the employee, the emergency action taken under this Section may be made the subject of a separate grievance.

  • Rectification of Safety Hazard Where, because of the existence of a safety hazard, a site has been stopped for a defined period of time and Employees sent off site by agreement between Site Managers and any combination of Union Official/s, Health and Safety Committee, those people who remain on site to do rectification work will be paid at the rate of double time for all such work.

  • Company Policies and Procedures 7.1.1 The Company will ensure that Employees are able to readily access Company policies and procedures that apply to the Employees. 7.1.2 The Employees will observe and act in accordance with Company policies and procedures that apply to the Employees, as implemented and amended from time to time.

  • Safety Policy The City agrees to maintain in safe working condition all facilities and equipment furnished by the City to carry out the duties of each bargaining unit position, but reserves the right to determine what those facilities and equipment shall be. The Association agrees to work cooperatively in maintaining safety in the Xenia/Xxxxxx Central Communications Center.

  • Safety and Protection Where applicable, the PERFORMING PARTY shall be responsible for requiring employees, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain and supervise all necessary safety precautions and programs in connection with the Grant Activities. The PERFORMING PARTY shall take all necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of the public during performance of the Grant Activities.

  • Policies and Procedures i) The policies and procedures of the designated employer apply to the employee while working at both sites. ii) Only the designated employer shall have exclusive authority over the employee in regard to discipline, reporting to the College of Nurses of Ontario and/or investigations of family/resident complaints. iii) The designated employer will ensure that the employee is covered by WSIB at all times, regardless of worksite, while in the employ of either home. iv) The designated employer will ensure that the employee is covered by liability insurance at all times, regardless of worksite, while in the employ of either home. v) The designated employer shall have exclusive authority over the employee’s personnel files and health records. These files will be maintained on the site of the designated employer.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH POLICIES AND PROCEDURES During the period that Executive is employed with the Company hereunder, Executive shall adhere to the policies and standards of professionalism set forth in the policies and procedures of the Company and IAC as they may exist from time to time.

  • Safety Procedures The Contractor shall: (a) comply with all applicable safety regulations according to Attachment H; (b) take care for the safety of all persons entitled to be on the Site; (c) use reasonable efforts to keep the Site and Works clear of unnecessary obstruction so as to avoid danger to these persons; (d) provide fencing, lighting, guarding and watching of the Works until completion and taking over under clause 10 [Employer's Taking Over]; and (e) provide any Temporary Works (including roadways, footways, guards and fences) which may be necessary, because of the execution of the Works, for the use and protection of the public and of owners and occupiers of adjacent land.
