Strengthening of BEEEI. The strengthening of the administrative and managerial capacity of selected staff in BEEEI in the areas of, inter alia, monitoring of compliance with PGE and interpretation of regulatory texts, through training of selected staff in BEEEI, the acquisition of equipment and the provision of technical advisory services. The Project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2006. Section I Procurement of Goods and Works Part A: General 1. Goods and works shall be procured in accordance with: (a) the provisions of Section I of the "Guidelines for Procurement under IBRD Loans and XXX Credits" published by the Bank in January 1995 and revised in January and August 1996, September 1997 and January 1999 (the Guidelines); and (b) the provisions of the following Parts of this Section I. 2. In paragraphs 1.6 and 1.8 of the Guidelines, the references to "Bank member countries" and "member country" shall be deemed to be references, respectively, to "Participating Countries" and "Participating Country". Part B: International Competitive Bidding 1. Except as otherwise provided in Part C of this Section, goods and works shall be procured under contracts awarded in accordance with the provisions of Section II of the Guidelines and paragraph 5 of Appendix 1 thereto. 2. The following provisions shall apply to goods and works to be procured under contracts awarded in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of this Part B (a) Grouping of contracts To the extent practicable, contracts for goods shall be grouped in bid packages estimated to cost $100,000 equivalent, or more each. (b) Preference for domestically manufactured goods and domestic contractors. The provisions of paragraphs 2.54 and 2.55 of the Guidelines and Appendix 2 thereto shall apply to goods manufactured in the territory of the Borrower and works to be carried out by domestic contractors.

  • Opening Negotiations 4.2.1 Between April 1 and April 30 of each ensuing year, either the Association or the Board shall submit a written request for negotiations to commence to the other party, if it desires there to be negotiations for that year. If no such request is made during the time period above, negotiations will not take place for the ensuing year. 4.2.2 The first negotiations session shall occur on a mutually agreeable date not more than thirty (30) days from the date of the written request to open negotiations. 4.2.3 The parties will exchange proposals at the initial negotiating session. Subsequent proposals may only be submitted upon mutual agreement of the parties.

  • Opening of Tenders 2.20.1 The Procuring entity will open all tenders in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend, at (the place specified in the invitation to tender).   • Opening of Bids a) The Bids shall be opened by the bid opening & evaluation committee on the date and time mentioned in the NIB in the presence of the bidders or their authorised representatives who choose to be present. b) The committee may co-opt experienced persons in the committee to conduct the process of Bid opening. c) The committee shall prepare a list of the bidders or their representatives attending the opening of Bids and obtain their signatures on the same. The list shall also contain the representative’s name and telephone number and corresponding bidders’ names and addresses. The authority letters, if any, brought by the representatives shall be attached to the list. The list shall be signed by all the members of Bid opening committee with date and time of opening of the Bids. d) All the documents comprising of technical Bid/ cover shall be opened & downloaded from the e-Procurement website (only for the bidders who have submitted the prescribed fee(s) to RISL). e) The committee shall conduct a preliminary scrutiny of the opened technical Bids to assess the prima-facie responsiveness and ensure that the: - a. bid is accompanied by bidding document fee, bid security or bid securing declaration, and processing fee (if applicable); b. bid is valid for the period, specified in the bidding document; c. bid is unconditional and the bidder has agreed to give the required performance security; and d. other conditions, as specified in the bidding document are fulfilled. e. any other information which the committee may consider appropriate. f) No Bid shall be rejected at the time of Bid opening except the Bids not accompanied with the proof of payment or instrument of the required price of bidding document, processing fee and bid security. g) The Financial Bid cover shall be kept unopened and shall be opened later on the date and time intimated to the bidders who qualify in the evaluation of technical Bids.

  • Term and Reopening Negotiations This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect for a period commencing on its date of execution, through June 30, 2022, and thereafter as provided by P.E.L.R.A. If either party desires to modify or amend this Agreement commencing at its expiration, it shall give written notice of such intent no later than 120 days prior to said expiration. Unless otherwise mutually agreed, the parties shall not commence negotiations more than 90 days prior to the expiration of this Agreement.

  • Procedures for Providing NP Through Full NXX Code Migration Where a Party has activated an entire NXX for a single Customer, or activated at least eighty percent (80%) of an NXX for a single Customer, with the remaining numbers in that NXX either reserved for future use by that Customer or otherwise unused, if such Customer chooses to receive Telephone Exchange Service from the other Party, the first Party shall cooperate with the second Party to have the entire NXX reassigned in the LERG (and associated industry databases, routing tables, etc.) to an End Office operated by the second Party. Such transfer will be accomplished with appropriate coordination between the Parties and subject to appropriate industry lead times for movements of NXXs from one switch to another. Neither Party shall charge the other in connection with this coordinated transfer.
