Succession Planning/ Training/Education a. The parties are committed to employee development and training, therefore each local working committee is mandated to review the concept of succession and training planning and to make recommendations to the Union/Management Committee on the fundamental elements of a succession and training plan. The recommendations must identify specifically the training and mobility requirements within lines of progression as well as the exemptions, if any, from Article 10 of the Collective Agreement the local working committee feels necessary to achieve a workable succession plan. The local working committee shall review the status of their succession and training plans every two (2) years or sooner if a local committee deems to do so. b. Where the University offers free or subsidized training or education to employees in a particular department or unit as defined in Appendix “A”, and where such offer cannot be made to all employees in that department or unit, then the offer shall be made on the basis of the following factors: relevance of the training to the employee’s work; the likelihood that the employee will utilize the training in the employee’s work for a reasonable period of time; prerequisite qualifications and work history; and seniority. All enumerated factors will be given equal weight.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Transition Planning The AGENCY will be responsible for the development of the student’s Transition Plan, which begins upon entry and is completed prior to the student’s exit.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Selection Planning Prior to the issuance to consultants of any requests for proposals, the proposed plan for the selection of consultants under the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines. Selection of all consultants’ services shall be undertaken in accordance with such selection plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • General Education University Program Requirements All MTA applicable courses require a grade “C” or higher

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
