Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.
Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.
Vacation Period The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.
Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.
Vacation Buy Back Employees shall have the option of requesting pay in lieu of time off up to a maximum of 144 hours of vacation time each year, during each year of the contract in increments of eight (8) hrs. Such requests are subject to the approval of the department head and the availability of funds.
Period of Contract All obligations of Purchaser shall be discharged not later than “Termination Date” stated in A15, unless it is adjusted pursuant to B8.21 or B8.212 or extended pursuant to B8.23 or B8.32, except- ing only those obligations for which Forest Service has given written permission to delay performance. Such writ- ten permission shall be considered a Contract Term Ad- justment for the purpose of Purchaser completing per- formance of obligations covered by such permission.
Period of Agreement This Agreement shall start on _, 20 (“Effective Date”), and end on , 20_ _, at 12:00 midnight (“Listing Period”), unless the expiration date is extended in writing.
Sick Leave Transfer An employee may transfer their earned sick leave to a spouse, sister, brother, parent, child or any designated person employed by the District under the provisions of. Board Policy 3430.03—Sick Leave (c) (3) (4) and related procedures.
Transition Period Due to the nature of our purchasing process, the District often requires an existing service provider to continue to provide goods and/or services while the District is in the process of advertising, evaluating, and awarding a contract for the provision of the same goods and/or services in the future. To accommodate this process, the Contractor shall agree to maintain the same terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days after the automatic termination of this Agreement at the end of its term, if requested by the District, as a transition period. In addition, if the Contractor is not the successful bidder for a future solicitation for the same or similar services, he or she shall agree to provide the same goods and/or services provided in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days to allow for an orderly transition to the new provider. The District and the Contractor may mutually agree to a longer transition period.
Retention Periods Documentation which serves as evidence of orderly and proper data processing must be retained by ATOSS in accordance with the applicable statutory retention periods beyond the end of the contract. To relieve itself of this obligation, ATOSS may turn said documentation over to the Customer at the end of the contract.
