Common use of Sunday Overtime Clause in Contracts

Sunday Overtime. Overtime hours worked on a Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of double ordinary time rates. Overtime hours (outside of normal day-work hours i.e. 7.30am to 3.47pm) worked on a PH shall be paid for at the rate of triple ordinary time rates. Hours worked during normal day-work hours on a PH will provide the employee with his/her ordinary public holiday payment, plus double time culminating to a maximum of triple time for the normal day- work.
