Sunset on Discipline Sample Clauses

Sunset on Discipline. An employee may request in writing that any formal written record of discipline issued in accordance with Article 8.1 be removed from the employee's confidential personnel file after twelve (12) months worked provided no other disciplinary offense was committed during that period that resulted in a written record of discipline, unless the original offense was of such a serious nature as to warrant a lengthy suspension [more than five (5) days]. In the latter case, the request would be considered on its merits and, if denied, may be resubmitted annually.

Sunset on Discipline. Disciplinary notices and written references to such will not be considered or used against a employee after twelve (12) months. Such notices shall be removed from the employee’s file after the said twelve (12) month period, however depending on the nature of the alleged offence the Company and Union may agree on a lesser period.
