Supplemental Retiree Health Program. 22.2.1 Over and above the minimum required contribution for retirees, the District and RHCFA have established a supplemental retiree health program. This program would not be subject to the regulation of PEMHCA. The vesting requirement for these supplemental health benefits will be fifteen (15) full time years. In other words, an employee who has at least fifteen (15) years of full time service to the District and who has reached fifty-five (55) years of age will receive these post retirement benefits. For those current employees who were vested or partially vested in 2005 under the prior number of required years (five) but who cannot complete the fifteen (15) years prior to reaching the age of 62, the District will make a transition exception for those who meet the minimum requirements for STRS retirement, and are no less than 62 upon retirement from the District. In other words, if a unit member were already vested with five (5) years of credit, age 57, and elected to retire at age 62, even though he/she had only a total of ten (10) years service credit, that unit member would be provided the supplemental benefits.

Supplemental Retiree Health Program. Over and above the minimum required contribution for retirees, there will be a supplemental retiree health program not subject to the regulation of PEMHCA. The supplemental retiree health program will be the difference between the CalPERS minimum and the cost for a single employee medical policy. The service requirement for the supplemental health benefits will be the completion of fifteen years with SCOE and meeting the requirements set forth in Article 22.02. When an employee retires under CalPERS regulations with fifteen or more years of service with SCOE, the employee will be entitled to one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of the least expensive medical coverage for a single employee.

  • Retiree Health Benefits 1. There is currently in effect a retiree health benefit program for retired members of LACERS under LAAC Division 4, Chapter 11. All covered employees who are members of LACERS, regardless of retirement tier, shall contribute to LACERS four percent (4%) of their pre-tax compensation earnable toward vested retiree health benefits as provided by this program. The retiree health benefit available under this program is a vested benefit for all covered employees who make this contribution, including employees enrolled in LACERS Tier 3.

  • Post Retirement Health Care Benefit Employees who separate from State service and who, at the time of separation are insurance eligible and entitled to immediately receive an annuity under a State retirement program, shall be entitled to a contribution of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) to the Minnesota State Retirement System’s (MSRS) Health Care Savings Plan. Employees who have a HCSP waiver on file shall receive a two hundred fifty dollars ($250) cash payment. If the employee separates due to death, the two hundred fifty dollars ($250) is paid in cash, not to the HCSP. An employee who becomes totally and permanently disabled on or after January 1, 2008, who receives a State disability benefit, and is eligible for a deferred annuity under a State retirement program is also eligible for the two hundred fifty dollar ($250) contribution to the MSRS Health Care Savings Plan. Employees are eligible for this benefit only once.

  • Retirement Program Any employee employed prior to October 1, 1977, working at least seventy (70) hours per month shall by law be a member of the Washington Public Employees Retirement system (PERS) Plan One. Any employee working at least seventy (70) hours per month, entering employment on or after October 1, 1977, shall by law be a member of the School Employees Retirement System, Plan Two or Three. The District shall provide each new employee information concerning PERS or SERS membership benefits.

  • RETIREE HEALTH SAVINGS PLAN Effective, December 24, 2006, or as soon as administratively possible, the County shall establish a retiree health savings plan (RHSP) by contributing an amount of $25.00 to the employee’s RHSP each biweekly pay period.

  • Retirement Plans In connection with the individual retirement accounts, simplified employee pension plans, rollover individual retirement plans, educational IRAs and XXXX individual retirement accounts (“XXX Plans”), 403(b) Plans and money purchase and profit sharing plans (collectively, the “Retirement Plans”) within the meaning of Section 408 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) sponsored by a Fund for which contributions of the Fund’s shareholders (the “Participants”) are invested solely in Shares of the Fund, JHSS shall provide the following administrative services:

Eligibility for lifetime medical is subject to the Employee completing five (5) years of continuous service at the level of Department Head or above and retiring from the City of Fontana as an annuitant of the Public employees Retirement System (PERS). Employee shall cease to be eligible for lifetime medical coverage paid by the City if the Employee reinstates as an active member of PERS or otherwise fails to meet the PERS definition of an annuitant.

  • Supplemental Employment Benefit for Maternity and Parental Leave 8.5.1 Effective April 1, 2002, when on maternity or parental leave, an employee will receive a supplemental payment added to Employment Insurance benefits as follows:

  • Retiree Health Insurance Retired members of the Department receiving, or to receive City of Lincoln monthly pension checks, may participate in the group comprehensive health care plan for active City employees, provided that each retiree so desiring will execute the required forms in a timely fashion, and further provided that each retiree will be required to pay the full monthly cost at the current rates subject to any rate increases which may occur from time to time. Such payment will be made by payroll deduction from pension checks, or by direct payment in the case of an early retiree.
