Supplemental Teamster Pension. Effective September 1, 2021, the District shall pay an amount equal to eighty cents ($0.80) per hour, for each hour for which compensation is paid to him/her into the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust Fund on account of each member of the bargaining unit, said amounts to be computed monthly. The total amount due for each calendar month shall be remitted in a lump sum not later than ten (10) days after the last business day of such month. The District agrees to abide by such rules as may be established by the Trustees of said Trust Fund to facilitate the determination of the hours for which contributions are due, the prompt and orderly collection of such amounts, the accurate reporting and recording of such hours and such amounts paid on account of each member of the bargaining unit. Failure to make all payments herein provided for, within the time specified, shall be a breach of this Agreement.

Supplemental Teamster Pension. Effective September 1, 2015, based on September hours, the District shall pay an amount equal to sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour, for each hour for which compensation is paid to him/her into the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust Fund on account of each non-supervisory employee, including casual employees, who engages in work of the bargaining unit, said amount to be computed monthly. The total amount due for each calendar month shall be remitted in a lump sum not later than ten (10) days after the last business day of such month. The District agrees to abide by such rules as may be established by the Trustees of said Trust Fund to facilitate the determination of the hours for which contributions are due, the prompt and orderly collection of such amounts, the accurate reporting and recording of such hours and such amounts paid on account of each member of the bargaining unit.   • Retirement Plans In connection with the individual retirement accounts, simplified employee pension plans, rollover individual retirement plans, educational IRAs and XXXX individual retirement accounts (“XXX Plans”), 403(b) Plans and money purchase and profit sharing plans (collectively, the “Retirement Plans”) within the meaning of Section 408 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) sponsored by a Fund for which contributions of the Fund’s shareholders (the “Participants”) are invested solely in Shares of the Fund, JHSS shall provide the following administrative services:

  • Municipal Pension Plan (i) All newly hired regular employees shall participate under the Municipal Pension Plan, subject to the terms and conditions of such Plan, from their initial date of hire as a regular employee.

  • Survivor Benefit Upon the death of a regular employee who leaves a spouse and/or dependants enrolled in the Medical Services Plan, Dental Plan and Extended Health Benefit Plan, such enrolment may continue for twelve (12) months following the employee’s death, provided the enrolled family members pay the employee’s share of the cost of the premium for the plans. The Employer shall advise the survivor of this benefit.
