Common use of Supplementary Employment Insurance Benefits Clause in Contracts

Supplementary Employment Insurance Benefits. To qualify for Supplementary Employment Insurance Benefits, an Employee must have been employed continuously for at least one year, hold a current appointment of at least one year, and provide proof that he/she is in receipt of Employment Insurance Benefits. The Application for Supplementary Employment Insurance Benefits will be made through Human Resources. The one (1) year period shall be calculated from the commencement of employment to the commencement of the Employee’s pregnancy or parental leave.
