Common use of Taking of Long Service Leave Clause in Contracts

Taking of Long Service Leave. (a) Long service leave will be taken at a time convenient to the Employer but not less than thirty (30) days notice will be given to each employee on the day on which his/her long service leave commences, except in cases where the employee and the Employer agree to a lesser period of notice or in other exceptional circumstances.
