Common use of Taking of Long Service Leave Clause in Contracts

Taking of Long Service Leave. (a) Long service leave will be taken at a time convenient to the Employer but not less than thirty days’ notice will be given to each employee of the day on which their long service leave commences, except in cases where the employee and the Employer agree to a lesser period of notice or in other exceptional circumstances.
