Teacher Contract Days. The number of contract days for teachers shall consist of a total of 178 contract days as determined and scheduled by the BOARD. The teachers shall have one day, prior to the beginning of the student academic year, to work in their classrooms. This day shall have no meetings or any school related activity which would prevent the teachers from working in his or her classroom. Contract days missed because of emergency closings (building damage, loss of utilities, natural disaster and/or inclement weather) shall be made up only if more than three (3) days occur. The superintendent may require teachers to report for duty as a contract day when school is closed and travel is not discouraged. Teachers shall not be required to report to work on those days when students are not required to attend due to inclement weather/hazardous driving conditions.
Teacher Contract Days. The number of contract days shall not exceed 185 days for returning teachers and 190 days for teachers new to the School District.
Teacher Contract Days. A. For the 2021-2022 school year and beyond, pending a negotiated change, the teacher contract days will be one hundred eighty-two (182) days, which include two (2) staff in- service days and two (2) staff days in each school year. The number of student days shall be one hundred seventy-eight (178). Modifications to the number of instructional days will be determined prior to the Board’s official action to adopt the school calendar for any future school years. B. Teachers shall receive their regular rate of pay for all calamity days authorized by law. C. Teachers shall not receive additional compensation for make-up days. D. It is a management right to decide when a calamity day will be declared. The decision on calling calamity days or the scheduling of make-up days and how the days will be made up shall not be subject to the Grievance Procedure and Arbitration. The Board agrees to compensate the teachers up to five (5) work days for days when school is cancelled in whole. If school is cancelled for days in excess of five (5), the Board will approve a school calendar which will identify the number of make-up days. The number of make- up days shall not exceed seven (7) school days. It is the intention of the Board to use these days to make up instruction to students. If the number of cancelled school days exceeds the five (5) not to be made up plus the number of days to be made up (not to exceed seven (7)), the teachers will need to complete one (1) day of professional development or staff day, as follows: one (1) day of professional development or staff day if school is cancelled for fifteen (15) days; one (1) additional day of professional development or staff day if school is cancelled for eighteen (18) days; and one (1) additional day of professional development or staff day if school is cancelled for twenty- one (21) days. Professional development days or staff days are to be scheduled no later than ten (10) days prior to the start of the subsequent school year.   • CONTRACT DATE The date the Contract begins. The Contract Date is shown on page 3.

  • Contract Duration This contract shall commence with the date this contract was entered into and shall expire on October 31, 2022. No new projects may be assigned on or after the expiration date, but all projects assigned prior to the expiration date will be allowed to continue to completion with all the terms and conditions of this contract herein set forth remaining in full force and effect. The term of this contract may be extended in writing by the Commissioner.

  • Term of Contract; Contract Extension The Contract will be in effect from the Effective Date (15 December 2016) through 31 December 2018. DAS, in its sole discretion, may extend this Contract for additional terms beyond the original term, prior to Termination or expiration, one or more times for a combined total period not to exceed the complete length of the original term.

  • CONTRACT DATA The Consultant is advised to read the NEC3 Professional Service Contract (Third edition with amendments of June 2006 and April 2013) and the relevant Guidance Notes and Flow Charts, published by the Institution of Civil Engineers, in order to understand the implications of this Data which is required.   • 190 Contract Complete This contract is the final expression of the Parties' agreement. There are no understandings, agreements, or representations, expressed or implied, which are not specified in this contract.

  • Other Contractors District reserves the right to enter into other agreements for work additional or related to the subject matter of this Contract, and Contractor agrees to cooperate fully with these other contractors and with the District. When requested by District, Contractor shall coordinate its performance under this Contract with such additional or related work. Contractor shall not interfere with the work performance of any other contractor or District employees.

  • Contract Work Contract work means capital project work within existing plant facilities, major maintenance and/or revamp work, plant modifications and/or shutdown work, minor maintenance and/or repair work, breakdown maintenance.

  • CONTRACT COMPLETE This Contract represents the complete agreement between the parties. No other understanding regarding this Contract, whether written or oral, may be used to bind either party. For any conflict between the attached Proposal and the terms set out in Articles 1-22 of this Contract, the terms of Articles 1-22 will govern.

  • DISTRIBUTION OF CONTRACTOR PRICE LIST AND CONTRACT APPENDICES Contractor shall provide Authorized Users with electronic copies of the Contract, including price lists and Appendices, upon request. Contract Updates will be handled as provided in Appendix C – Contract Modification Procedures.
