Returning Teachers. Returning teachers shall come in at the current rate of pay from the individual’s previous school year contract and receive the guaranteed annual increase. The dollar amount for changing lanes will be $1,500.00. When making a lane change, the teacher will still receive the guaranteed annual increase and the tier increase. Any returning teacher who falls at or below the proposed base salary at the time of the base salary increase and does not receive more than a newly hired teacher after their tier reimbursement and guaranteed annual increase, will receive the new base as well as their guaranteed annual increase and their tier reimbursement for the upcoming year.
Returning Teachers. Each teacher employed by the district in 2018-2019 and returning to the district in 2019-2020 shall receive an increase of $1,700.00 on his/her base salary for the 2019-2020 year. All returning teachers with one year of teaching experience will be paid at least the base salary plus $250.00.
Returning Teachers. 8.5.1.1 The work year is one hundred eighty-six (186) days, including one hundred eighty (180) instructional days and six Staff Development Days. The six In-service days shall not be on a weekend or holiday.

Part-time teachers will receive a proportionate amount. Teachers whose salaries reach the Maximum Salary amount will receive 75% of the amount of the Year of Experience increase amount. At the end of the 2019-2020/2020- 2021 Master Agreement, the Career Increment will sunset and continue with a Year of Experience Increase for all teachers. The purpose of this sunset is to allow for future review of the career increment component of the salary structure. Teachers during the 2018-2019 contract period on Step 0 will move to Step 1, Step 1 to Step 2, Step 2 to Step 3 and Step 3 to Step 3.5. In addition $100 will be added for each year of experience from 1 year to 7 years in 2018-2019 school year. (ie; teacher with 7 years experience would receive an additional $700 in addition to the above mentioned adjustment) This will be their adjusted base pay, before adding the increase for returning teachers to the 2019-2020 contract.
