The normal, daily, teaching load in Grades 6-12 will be six (6) assigned periods and one (1) unassigned, duty-free, preparation period of duration equal to the assigned periods. The normal, daily, teaching load at the elementary school will be three hundred fifty (350) minutes of assigned time and no less than seventy-five (75) minutes of unassigned, duty-free, preparation time, including lunch.
TEACHING LOAD AND ASSIGNMENT. A. The Board agrees that the academic class size for Kindergarten through Grade 6 shall not exceed the maximum of twenty-five (25) students per class. If class size exceeds twenty-five (25), the affected teacher(s), the WTA President, Elementary Principal, and Superintendent must confer to remedy the situation.
