Assigned Periods. Employees shall keep their classes in session each day during school hours and assigned periods and shall not dismiss them, for any reason, without permission of the principal or Superintendent. Employees shall be responsible for the orderly departure of all pupils generally and specifically for those who have been assigned to them for any class. Employees shall give every reasonable assistance to all pupils in their studies. Any tickets sold in the Building will be sold only in the Building Office and all fiscal policies will be followed in the handling of funds received.
Assigned Periods. Each teacher shall have no more than five (5) assigned periods with a consultation‐ planning period daily. Cafeteria/hall supervision (full periods) is considered an assignment.
Assigned Periods. The rest of the workday shall be comprised of a duty-free lunch period and unassigned preparation periods. Middle school (6-8), by mutual agreement between the middle school principal and a simple majority of the middle school staff, may alter the schedule in ways believed to improve the effectiveness of the middle school program. The sixth grade program in effect during the 2005-06 school year will be the model utilized for the 2006-07 school year. Any future changes in the sixth grade program will be governed by the language of the previous sentence. No other departure from these norms, except in case of emergency, shall be authorized without prior consultation with the Association. In the event of any disagreement between the representative of the Board and the Association as to the need and desirability of such deviation, the matter may be processed through the professional grievance negotiation procedure hereinafter set forth.
Assigned Periods. Full-time unit members in grades 6 through 12 shall have five (5) assigned teaching periods and at least one (1) collaboration period. Collaboration is based on site needs as defined by the Administrator and in collaboration with the site teacher leadership. All sites shall participate in Vertical Articulation (VA) the 1st Wednesday of each month as determined by the District calendar. For the VA the teacher work day is extended by one hour beyond the latest site dismissal time. At no time shall the VA dismissal time extend later than 3:30 p.m. without prior agreement and compensation. For the primary and elementary schools, the following schedule shall be implemented: a. Teachers shall have one 80 minute collaborative period during the instructional day per week b. Teachers shall have 80 minutes of preparation which may be divided into two 40 minute periods during the instructional day per week. c. The Wednesday Schedule shall be: i. 1st Wednesday – Vertical Articulation ii. 2nd Wednesday – Collaboration iii. 3rd Wednesday – Individual Preparation iv. 4th Wednesday – Collaboration
Assigned Periods. Full-time unit members in grades six (6) through twelve (12) shall have five (5) assigned teaching periods, one (1) preparation period and at least one (1) collaboration period. Full-time unit members in grades TK through five (5) shall have instructional minutes assigned by the school schedule, including one-hundred fifty (150) minutes of preparation time and eighty (80) minutes collaboration time per week. Collaboration periods will be held on Wednesdays during the early release time except on Vertical Articulation days. 12.3.1 Collaboration periods (time) may be determined by administrative direction, but no more than fifty percent (50%) of the time monthly will be assigned to the unit member, grade level, or instructional team. On months with five (5) Wednesdays, the collaboration time will be divided in half with administrative direction and unit member designated activities. 12.3.2 Specialists shall be assigned to interact with students as determined by administration. They shall be allotted the same preparation time as other like unit members. In the event a specialist has unassigned student interaction time, the site administrator shall assign other duties to the specialist. 12.3.3 The District shall strive to provide 15 minutes of travel time to transfer from one site to another when a unit member is assigned to more than one site in a given day. These fifteen (15) minutes shall be a part of their collaborative period. 12.3.4 When scheduling a necessary conference or appointment during a unit member's preparation time, the administration, in recognition of the educational value of the preparation period to the instructional program, shall endeavor to keep unit member preparation time interruption to a minimum.

  • Closed Periods No Noteholder may require the transfer of a Registered Note to be registered or an Exchangeable Bearer Note to be exchanged for a Registered Note (i) during the period of 15 days ending on the due date for any payment of principal on that Note; (ii) during the period of 15 days prior to any date on which Notes may be drawn for redemption by the Issuer at its option pursuant to Condition 6(c); or

  • Break Periods The parties agree that the paid rest period contemplated by Article 16(e) shall be taken during times that will not interfere with the operation of the Strong Start Centre.

  • Retention Periods Documentation which serves as evidence of orderly and proper data processing must be retained by ATOSS in accordance with the applicable statutory retention periods beyond the end of the contract. To relieve itself of this obligation, ATOSS may turn said documentation over to the Customer at the end of the contract.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as close as possible to the middle of the scheduled hours of work. The length of the meal period shall be agreed to at the local level and shall be not less than 30 minutes nor more than 60 minutes. (b) An employee shall be entitled to take their meal period away from the workstation. Where this cannot be done, the meal period shall be considered as time worked.

  • Waiting Periods All applicable waiting periods, if any, under the HSR Act shall have expired or been terminated.
