Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Definitions. The TRLs set out below correspond to the standard European Commission TRLs. The properties required of an infrastructure component at each TRL are also defined. The TRLs are intended to be applied, not only to systems delivered as RI, but also to the systems producing key datasets as well.
