The employee shall assure College equipment is used for College business. College e-mail account shall be used for College business. The employee shall protect against unauthorized or accidental access, use, modification, destruction, loss, theft or disclosure of College owned equipment, records or materials. Any loss, damage, or unauthorized access to College equipment, records or materials shall immediately be reported to the supervisor. c. The employee shall, whenever possible, guarantee that an appropriate space is available in the home (or other approved remote site) to provide for an effective work environment and data integrity. The employee should not telecommute from a public place. d. Although authorized to telework, the employee is expected to document any inability to work as expected through the College’s online timekeeping system (SoftTime).

  • Employee Responsibilities The Employer's policy with respect to employee responsibilities provides for employees:

  • Employee Responsibility Each employee is responsible for the care and maintenance of such equipment. The Company retains the right to inspect the equipment at any time and to require the employee to provide an accounting of any loss or abuse.

  • Employer Responsibilities Recognizing the inherent risk(s) in a correctional setting, the Employer is obligated to provide a safe workplace and to educate employees on proper safety procedures and use of protective and safety equipment. The Employer is committed to responding to legitimate safety concerns raised by the Union and employees. The Employer will comply with federal and state safety standards, including requirements relating to first aid training, first aid equipment and the use of protective devices and equipment.

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION 11.1 The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Contract shall be set in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Agreement. 11.2 The salary of the teacher will be presumed correct as shown in the Uniform Teacher’s Contract unless the teacher or the Employer furnishes evidence of error. 11.3 An explanation as to how contract salary figures are computed will accompany the first paycheck of each school year. 11.4 Basic salaries for teachers shall be paid in twenty-six (26) payments. Basic salaries for teachers shall be paid in twenty-six (26) payments in a given calendar year. Exceptions may be made with the approval of the Cash Flow Committee. A teacher may receive the balance due on his contract with the first scheduled paycheck in July by written notice to the Business Office by May 1. If May 1 occurs on a day that school is not in session, the deadline shall be the next regular school day. A teacher who makes this election shall continue each year to receive the balance due on his contract with the first scheduled paycheck in July unless he notifies the Business Office by May 1 that he prefers to be paid in twenty-six (26) payments. Teachers will be notified by the Cash Flow Committee of the Xxxxxxx Teachers’ Federation prior to June 1 in the event the balance on teachers’ contracts due on the first scheduled paycheck in July cannot be paid. 11.5 New teachers will receive one half (½) of their first pay one payroll in advance and the remaining one half (½) on the next pay date. 11.6 Effective January 1, 2009, teacher pay will be issued via direct deposit only. 11.7 The Superintendent may approve additional compensation for individual teachers who have been authorized by the Superintendent to perform additional work assignments. 11.8 Payroll deductions for teachers shall be made as required by law or as mutually agreed to by the parties. Teachers may authorize deductions for tax-sheltered annuities during open enrollment periods of the carrier companies involved. 11.9 Deductions for daily absences not covered by provisions in the Contract shall be made at the same rate as earned. 11.10 Effective January 1, 1993, the Board shall pay directly to the Indiana State Teachers Retirement Fund each teacher’s three percent (3%) contribution to the fund. 11.11 The parties recognize that the salaries which appear on Regular Teacher’s Contracts and Teacher’s Temporary Contracts will be inaccurate whenever a salary increase is approved after these contracts have been executed. At the time of a teacher’s retirement, the Employer will review these contracts and, when necessary, revise the contracts for the five (5) years of service before retirement in which the teacher’s annual compensation was highest so they accurately reflect the sums which the teacher earned in each of those five (5) years. 11.12 The parties recognize that students are entitled to be taught by fully qualified teachers, while at the same time recognizing a professional responsibility to assist in the preparation of student teachers. Therefore, supervision by a teacher of a student teacher shall be voluntary. No teacher should serve as a supervising teacher more than one-half (1/2) of the total teaching time each year. This provision was not bargained and has been included for informational purposes only. Should 11.13 If the Employer determines that any committee should continue its work during the summer, teachers belonging to the committee performing such services shall be paid on the same basis and in the same manner as summer school teachers. If the Employer determines that professional development should occur in the summer, specific teachers invited to participate shall be paid on the same basis as summer school teachers.

  • Services and Compensation Consultant shall perform the services described in Exhibit A (the “Services”) for the Company (or its designee), and the Company agrees to pay Consultant the compensation described in Exhibit A for Consultant’s performance of the Services.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Employment and Training Administration The ratio of trainees to journeymen on the job site shall not be greater than permitted under the plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration. Every trainee must be paid at not less than the rate specified in the approved program for the trainee's level of progress, expressed as a percentage of the journeyman hourly rate specified in the applicable wage determination. Trainees shall be paid fringe benefits in accordance with the provisions of the trainee program. If the trainee program does not mention fringe benefits, trainees shall be paid the full amount of fringe benefits listed on the wage determination unless the Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division determines that there is an apprenticeship program associated with the corresponding journeyman wage rate on the wage determination which provides for less than full fringe benefits for apprentices. Any employee listed on the payroll at a trainee rate who is not registered and participating in a training plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the classification of work actually performed. In addition, any trainee performing work on the job site in excess of the ratio permitted under the registered program shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the work actually performed. In the event the Employment and Training Administration withdraws approval of a training program, the contractor will no longer be permitted to utilize trainees at less than the applicable predetermined rate for the work performed until an acceptable program is approved.

  • Employment Duties and Responsibilities A) The Company shall employ the Executive, and the Executive shall serve the Company, as President and Chief Executive Officer, with such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to the Executive by the Board of Directors of the Company (“BOD”) and are typically associated with a position of that nature. B) The Executive shall devote his best efforts and all of his business time to the performance of his duties under this Agreement and shall perform them faithfully, diligently and competently in a manner consistent with the policies and goals of the Company as determined from time to time by the BOD. C) The Executive shall report to the BOD of the Company. D) The Executive shall not engage in any activities outside the scope of his employment that would detract from, or interfere with, the fulfillment of his responsibilities or duties under this Agreement. E) The Executive shall not serve as a director (or the equivalent position) of any company or entity other than the Company and shall not render services of a business, professional or commercial nature to any other person or firm, except for not-for-profit entities, without prior written consent of the BOD. Such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. F) The Executive shall not receive fees or other remuneration for work performed either within or outside the scope of his employment without prior written consent of the BOD. Such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • EMPLOYEE RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES A. A secretary shall strive for excellence in his/her work, and take advantage of opportunities for continually improving his/her skills and relationships with the Board, co-workers, and the public. B. The Association and individual members thereof, agree to uphold and honor the policies, rules, regulations and practices of the Board and sections of this Agreement. Neither the Association, its representatives, nor any member, shall assume administrative or supervisory authority or direct employees to disregard the instructions or directions of the Board unless the Board is limited by this Agreement. C. Secretaries are responsible for maintaining a continuous high level of service to the welfare and benefit of the school district. Secretaries, therefore, are responsible for discharging their work assignments with proficiency and making a conscientious effort to meet all the duties of their positions. D. No Association representative, or secretary, shall engage in Association activities or business during employee working hours, without Board approval. E. The Association is hereby granted the right to reasonable use of school premises for its business meetings, after receiving prior approval from the Board, and providing it pays any overtime costs which may be incurred by the District. F. The Association may have reasonable use of the District's mail service and mailboxes for its business and social event announcements and may post notices on a part of the school bulletin boards in building lounges, provided all such announcements and notices contain the name of the Association officer or representative authorizing the same. G. Nothing in this Contract shall be construed to deny or restrict an employee's rights under the Michigan General School Laws, or applicable civil laws. The rights granted in this Contract are deemed to be in addition to those provided elsewhere. This paragraph is not deemed grievable under the grievance procedure herein. H. When the Board disciplines employees, it will not be arbitrary or unreasonable. No Seniority bargaining unit member shall be disciplined without just cause. I. A suspended or discharged seniority employee will be allowed to discuss his/her suspension or discharge with the President or Vice President for up to thirty (30) minutes. Nothing contained herein, however, shall prevent the Board from requiring the summary removal of the offending employee, if it appears that the safety of any person, property, or the maintenance of order requires such summary removal. J. The purpose of the installation of cameras/monitors is to increase the safety and security in that building. The Association, upon request, is entitled to information detailing where cameras/monitors are located in each building. It is specifically understood that surveillance equipment (i.e. cameras) cannot be used for purposes of staff evaluation or monitoring. It is understood that situations may arise warranting review of video. If any incident of illegal activity of staff is observed on the video, the Association will be immediately notified and will be given the opportunity to review the tape(s) within three (3) days of receipt of the notice.

  • Interconnection Customer Compensation If the CAISO requests or directs the Interconnection Customer to provide a service pursuant to Articles 9.6.3 (Payment for Reactive Power) or 13.5.1 of this LGIA, the CAISO shall compensate the Interconnection Customer in accordance with the CAISO Tariff.
