TERMINAL LEAVE REMUNERATION PLAN. A. Upon voluntary termination of employment of a covered employee, age 55 or over, who has been continuously employed by the Fair Lawn Board of Education for at least ten (10) years for those employed prior to July 1, 1978, and at least fifteen (15) years for those employed on July 1, 1978 or later, the following applies: For the term of this contract, the terminal leave payment shall be equal to the employee's number of accumulated terminal leave days multiplied by the daily accumulation rate of $70 per day, with a maximum of $10,150. Part- time employees shall be entitled based on a prorated daily accumulation rate.

TERMINAL LEAVE REMUNERATION PLAN. A. Upon voluntary termination of a covered employee who meets the criteria specified below, a terminal leave payment shall be made. For 2004-2007, the terminal leave payment shall be equal to the employee’s number of accumulated terminal leave days; multiplied by the daily accumulated rate of $65.00 per day, with the maximum payment being $10,000.00.* The criteria that must be met to qualify for the terminal leave are:

  • ’ Compensation Leave If such determination cannot readily be made and all healthcare leave or annual leave subject to 100% payoff has been applied to the absence, the employee shall be placed on Official Leave until a final determination is made.

An employee disentitled or disqualified from receiving employment insurance benefits is not eligible for maternity leave allowance.

  • Workplace Safety Insurance Benefits (WSIB) Top Up Benefits If the employee is in a class of employees that, on August 31, 2012, was entitled to use unused sick leave credits for the purpose of topping up benefits received under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997;

  • Supplemental Employment Benefit for Maternity and Parental Leave 8.5.1 Effective April 1, 2002, when on maternity or parental leave, an employee will receive a supplemental payment added to Employment Insurance benefits as follows:

  • Use of Vacation Leave for Sick Leave Purposes The Employer may allow an employee who has used all of his or her sick leave to use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 A. An employee who has used all of his or her sick leave may use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 B – H.

  • Maternity/Adoption Leave An employee who is pregnant and who has three (3) months or more of continuous service with the Company shall be granted leave of absence under the terms and conditions of the Employment Standards Act except as herein otherwise provided:

  • Restoration of Vacation Leave In the event an employee is injured or becomes ill while on vacation leave, the employee may submit a written request to use sick leave and have the equivalent amount of vacation leave restored. The supervisor may require a written medical certificate.
