Text and Data Mining Sample Clauses

Text and Data Mining. Authorized Users may use the Licensed Materials to perform and engage in text and/or data mining activities for academic research, scholarship, and other educational purposes and may utilize and share the results of text and/or data mining in their scholarly work and make the results available for use by others, so long as the purpose is not to create a product for use by third parties that would substitute for the Licensed Materials. Licensor will, upon receipt of written request, cooperate with Licensee and Authorized Users as reasonably necessary in making the Licensed Materials available in a manner and form most useful to the Authorized User. Licensor shall provide to Licensee, upon request, copies of the Licensed Materials for text and data mining purposes without any extra fees.

The Distributor shall ensure that the Publisher will provide the Licensee, upon request, with copies of the Licensed Materials for text and data mining purposes without any extra fees.

Text and Data Mining. Members and Authorized Users may apply automated tools and processes to the Licensed Materials for the purposes of textual analysis and visual mapping of textual and/or statistical relationships within the context of scholarship, research, and other educational purposes. Members and Authorized Users may make the results available for use by others, so long as the purpose is not to create a product for use by third parties that would substitute for the Licensed Materials. Licensor will cooperate with Licensee, Members, and Authorized Users as reasonably necessary in making the Licensed Materials available in a manner and form most useful to the Authorized User. If Licensee, Member, or Authorized User request the Licensor to deliver or otherwise prepare copies of the Licensed Materials for text and data mining purposes, any fees charged by the Licensor shall be solely for preparing and delivering such copies on a time and materials basis.
Text and Data Mining. 4.1 The Licensee may access and use all of the Licensed Materials for Text and Data Mining for the purpose of non-commercial research in accordance with the provisions and during the term of this Licence for as long as the Licensee maintains a subscription to the Licensed Materials. For Text and Data Mining (TDM), the Licensee and its Authorised Users may carry out the following activities:
Text and Data Mining. With Licensor’s written consent, where Licensor is able to give such consent then such consent not to be unreasonably withheld, authorized Users may use the Licensed Materials to perform and engage in text and/or data mining activities for academic research, scholarship, and other educational purposes. The scope of these text and/or data mining activities shall be authorized at Licensor’s discretion and documented in writing.

Text and Data Mining. Authorized Users may use a limited part of only the Licensed Materials published by Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc. to perform and engage in text and/or data mining activities for academic research, scholarship, and other educational purposes and may utilize and share the results of text and/or data mining in their scholarly work and make the results available for use by others, so long as the purpose is not to create a product for use by third parties that would substitute for the Licensed Materials. The Distributor will use commercially reasonable efforts to cause the Publisher to, upon receipt of a written request, cooperate with the Licensee and Authorized Users as will be reasonably necessary for making the Licensed Materials available in a manner and form most useful to the Authorized User. The Distributor shall provide the Licensee, upon request, with copies of the Licensed Materials for text and data mining purposes without any extra fees.
Text and Data Mining. The Authorized Users may upon a prior written agreement with the Licensor in a specific case use the Licensed Materials to perform and engage in text and/or data mining activities for academic research, scholarship, and other educational purposes and may utilize and share the results of text and/or data mining in their scholarly work and make the results available for use by others, so long as the purpose is not for commercial use or to create a product for use by third parties that would substitute for the Licensed Materials. The Licensor will, upon receipt of a written request, cooperate with the Licensee and the Authorized Users as will be reasonably necessary for making the Licensed Materials available in a manner and form most useful to the Authorized User.
Text and Data Mining. Authorized Users are permitted to engage in Text and Data Mining (TDM) meaning: downloading, extracting and indexing information from the Licensed Materials. Where required, TDM includes mounting, loading and integrating the results on a server used for the Licensee’s text-mining system and evaluate and interpret the TDM output for access and use by Authorized Users. The Licensee shall ensure compliance with Licensee’s obligations set forth in Section 4.2 of this Agreement, including but not limited to security and technical access requirements. TDM may be undertaken on either locally loaded Licensed Materials or as mutually agreed.
