The Board of School Trustees of School District No. 39 (VANCOUVER) (Hereinafter called the “School Board”) OF THE SECOND PART THE BRITANNIA COMMUNITY SERVICES CENTRE SOCIETY (Hereinafter called the “Society”) OF THE THIRD PART
The Board of School Trustees of School District No. (Southeast and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local mutually recognize each other as the exclusive representatives for the purpose of conducting collective bargaining regarding rates of pay, hours of work and all other working conditions of the employees of the Board, as certified by the Labour Relations Board, as long as the Union retains its rights to conduct collective bargaining on behalf of such employees under provisions of the Labour Code excepting those having authority to hire or discharge employees and those employed in a confidential capacity. The following positions shall be excluded from coverage under this Agreement: Secreta Five Confidential Secretaries Two Supervisors of Operations Transportation Officer Accounting Supervisor Director of Human Resources Section The Board agrees that there shall be no intimidation or coercion exercised or practiced with respect to any employee by reason of his membership in the Union, and the Union agrees that there shall be no intimidation on its part against any employee of the Board. Section No other shall No or permitted to or verbal agreements with the Board or its may conflict with the this Section Board Decision The Board agrees that any recommendation or decision by the Board relating to rates of pay, promotions, hiring, termination or discipline of employees covered by the terms of this Agreement, shall be communicated in writing to the Union within seven (7) calendar days of the Board's consideration and decision.
