Safety of Personnel. 10.1.1 Any abuse of school personnel, assault or battery upon school personnel or any threat of force or violence directed toward school personnel at any time or place which is related to school activity or school attendance shall be reported by employees to their immediate supervisor or designee, and the appropriate law enforcement authorities shall be informed by the unit member and the administrator under whose direction or supervision the unit member works.

16.1.3 First priority for repairs shall be given to repairs that affect health and safety in any classroom or other enclosed school areas where unit members have job related responsibility.

That supervisor shall, within twenty (20) working days, respond in writing to his/her employee, stating what will be done to make the condition safe or if no action will be taken, the reason(s) why.
Safety of Personnel. 16.1.1 Bargaining unit members shall not be required to work in conditions or perform tasks that endanger their health, safety, or well-being.

Bargaining unit members who are physically assaulted shall be offered the opportunity to be released for the remainder of the school day without any redaction of their sick leave.
i. Definition of Assault: California Penal Code (CPC) 240-An Assault is an unlawful attempt, coupled with a present ability, to commit a violent injury on the person of another.

Safety of Personnel. 7.1.1. The transmitters supplied in terms of this specification must comply with the following safety requirements: - IEC 60215: 2016 "Safety Requirements for Radio Transmitting Equipment".
7.1.2. A mains power isolator shall be provided in the cabinet, at the power-input point. Only a single mains power connection into each cabinet is allowed. (Safety regulation in SA)
7.1.3. All terminals and/or wiring, carrying dangerous voltages, shall be adequately shrouded/insulated so as to prevent bodily contact by personnel.
Safety of Personnel. RECIPIENT assumes all responsibility for informing and training personnel in the dangers and procedures for safe handling of human biospecimens and biohazards. All biorepository personnel must abide by OSHA regulations pertaining to the handling of human specimens. RECIPIENT acknowledges awareness of and required compliance with OSHA regulations and will instruct staff to abide by these rules.
Safety of Personnel. (a) The Company shall indemnify the Vendor against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis) and all other reasonable professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by the Vendor arising out of or in connection with any claim made against the Vendor by a third party for death, personal injury or damage to property arising out of or in connection with the attendance of the Personnel at any premises owned, occupied or controlled by the Company or a Company Party, to the extent attributable to the acts or omissions of the Company, a Company Party, or the employees, agents or subcontractors of the Company or a Company Party.
(b) Within 5 days of Company’s request, Vendor Parties and Personnel will submit completed Contractor Safety Pre- Qualification Criteria and Contractor Safety Information Data Sheet and Pre-Work Information and Acknowledgement, the current form of which will be made available by Company.
