Tournament Format. Tournament play is wave play. Teams will play in either an AM or PM wave. Three matches each tournament. Teams will stay within their respective age divisions for tournament play and the Region Championships.
Tournament Format. All teams are mixed for play in this Division. Open Division tournaments are all day tournaments. Format will be pool play followed by a single cross pool match. Teams will play in their respective age division for the Region Championships unless the team has notified the AZ Region of their choice to “play up” in an older age group for the Region Championships. The choice to “play up” must be made at the time this contract is submitted and is not reversible.

Other settings: —Display minimum settings in reports: Select this option to display the hitting and pitching minimum settings in your printed reports. —Use minimum settings in all reports: Choose to show reports with the minimum settings in all reports; or deselect this option to use the hitting and pitching minimums in the Category Leaders report. —Include ‘others’ not meeting minimums: Select if you want to include players not meeting minimums. Names appear in a separate section below a divider line, after players that did meet minimums.
Tournament Format. The format for each National Pathway tournament may be different but the scoring will remain consistent across the age groups. Main draw singles for U14, U16 and U18 will play best two of three tiebreak sets, regular scoring. Main draw singles for U12 will play best of three sets regular scoring with a 10-point tie break being used to decide the match at one set all. Doubles for all age groups (Main Draw and, if applicable, Qualifying) will play pro sets to eight games with a seven-point tie breaker being used to decide the outcome of the match in case the match is tied at seven games all. No ad scoring shall be implemented for all doubles events. Doubles scoring formats may be adjusted at any time in consultation with Tennis Alberta Staff by the Tournament Referee in case of inclement weather or other constraints associated with completing the event within the required time frame. Players must play singles to enter doubles. Players wishing to play doubles must enter in the same age category as the singles category they are playing.(e.g., A player cannot play U12 singles and U16 doubles. They must play U12 singles and doubles.) Players entering doubles must pay the required entry fee online when registering for the tournament. (2) Single elimination is a tournament format in which participants are eliminated from the tournament if they lose one match.
(3) Participants will receive separately stipulated prize money based on their performance in the tournament.
Tournament Format. All draws will be done as round-robins, with an elimination playoff. Matches will be played using the best of three sets to four, and no-ad scoring. If the set reaches 3-3, a tiebreaker will be played to five, win by one, and the same will be done if players split sets. A time-limit may be enforced for these events. Matches will have a maximum time limit of 45 minutes.

(2) The number of single-elimination rounds will be determined by the number of players who advance to the Day 2 Preliminaries.
(3) One winner from each group (8 winners in total) will qualify for the RAGE Shadowverse 2023 Winter Grand Finals to be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

(6) Participants who achieved the highest scores in the Day 2 Preliminaries may have a bye in the first round of the Preliminary Playoffs. The number of participants who receive a bye will be determined by the number of participants who advance to the Preliminary Playoffs.
(7) In the ranking of participants who have won the same number of matches in the Day 2 Preliminaries, the participant whose opponents' had the highest average match-win rate during the Day 2 Preliminaries will be ranked higher. If the average match-win rates of their opponents is also the same, the participant with the highest battle-win rate in the Day 2 Preliminaries will be ranked higher. If the participants' own battle- win rates are also the same, the participant whose opponents' had the highest average battle-win rate during the Day 2 Preliminaries will be ranked higher. If participants are tied in all three factors, their rankings will be determined by lottery.
(8) When calculating battle-win rates, byes are counted as two wins and zero losses.
(9) If a participant who qualified for the RAGE Shadowverse 2023 Winter Grand Finals (hereinafter referred to as "Participant A") is disqualified from the tournament, withdraws from the tournament, or otherwise becomes unable to participate, their qualification for the RAGE Shadowverse 2023 Winter Grand Finals will go to the participant who played against Participant A in the Preliminary Playoffs (hereinafter referred to as "Participant B"). In such a case, Participant B will not receive the prize money awarded to the winner of the Preliminary Playoffs.
(10) If the tournament bracket for the RAGE Shadowverse 2023 Winter Grand Finals have been decided when Participant Aʼs qualification for the RAGE Shadowverse 2023 Winter Grand Finals is given to Participant B, Participant B will take Participant Aʼs place in ...
