Traffic Detail Premium. Defined as compensation to employees who are routinely and consistently assigned to direct traffic. Designated by CCR 571 (a) as special assignment pay. Sworn, non-management Police personnel assigned to Traffic will receive Traffic Detail Premium in the amount of $145 per month. S ection 4.09 – Termination of Premium Pay. Detective Division Premium Pay, Police Liaison Premium, Training Premium and Traffic Detail Premium shall cease when the employee is reassigned to a non-specialty assignment. In those instances involving Detective Division Premium Pay, Police Liaison Premium, Training Premium, Traffic Detail Premium assignments, no premium pay will be applicable when an Officer is temporarily assigned to said duties because the Officer is incapacitated from serving on his/her usual assignment (e.g., light duty).   • Bilingual Premium The appointing authority may require a qualified employee to perform bilingual duties in positions which have been identified and designated as requiring such bilingual skills. In order to ensure an adequate level of bilingual proficiency, the Director, Department of Human Resources may require periodic evaluation of incumbents receiving bilingual premium.

  • Preceptor Differential The Hospital shall pay a differential of $1.50 per hour to a nurse who is designated by nursing management to serve as a preceptor to provide on-the-job training to newly hired nurses. One differential will be paid per shift per orientee to the primary preceptor for all hours served as the primary preceptor for that shift. Preceptor will only be paid while the newly hired nurse is in a one-to-one status. Preceptor is a voluntary assignment and the nurse has the option to refuse the preceptor assignment.

  • Shift and Weekend Premium (a) Effective July 1, 2019, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety cents (90¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 hours and 0700 hours. Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of hours of 1500 hours and 0700 hours.

  • Short Changeover Premium (a) If shifts are scheduled so that there are not twenty-four (24) hours between the start of an employee's shift and the start of his/her next shift, a premium calculated at the overtime rates will be paid for hours worked on the succeeding shift within the twenty-four (24) hour period.
