A three-day conference will usually consist of an introductory morning session (to include registration, welcome presentations, and discussion of the intent and format of the conference) and the series of presentations, workshops, and general sessions. The set of conference objectives will support the design of the conference sessions, selection of presenters, and the conference procedures (number of general sessions, use of projectors and power point presentations, simultaneous discussion groups for different interests and topics, workshops, and smaller breakout sessions).
