Project Design. Applicants must design a project that provides access to health services to enable eligible women and men experiencing health needs to secure and maintain safe and accessible quality screening and diagnostic services, comprehensive family planning, and/ or other women’s health services. A. Applicants are encouraged to emphasize the following components in the design of their projects. Projects must: 1. Use a collaborative approach to maximize existing community resources and avoid duplication of effort; 2. Enhance systems and local processes to make it easier for people to transition to, from, and between services; 3. Address barriers to ensure services are accessible to people regardless of setting or location; and 4. Promote improvement and positively impact health and well-being through coordinated service delivery. B. To be effective, services and activities provided or made available as part of the Proposed Project should have policies and procedures in place and include with the application as an attachment that: 1. Delineate the timely provision of services; 2. Deem Client eligibility and service provision as soon as possible and no later than 30 calendar days from initial request; 3. Require staff to assess and prioritize Client needs; 4. Implement with model fidelity to an evidence-based program or based upon best available research; 5. Plan in partnership with the person and are inclusive; 6. Provide in an environment that is most appropriate and based on a person’s preference including reasonable clinic/reception wait times that are not a barrier to care; 7. Provide referral sources for Clients that cannot be served or receive a specific service; 8. Are culturally and linguistically sensitive; 9. Tailor services to a person’s unique strengths and needs; 10. Manage funds to ensure established Clients continuity of care throughout budget year; 11. Continue to provide services to established Clients after allocated funds are expended; 12. Have processes to identify and eliminate possible barriers to care; 13. Do not deny services due to inability to pay; 14. Have appropriate key personnel and required staff to meet the medical and health needs of Clients; 15. Bill services appropriately and timely through TMHP; 16. Effectively communicate and document information related to health care needs with next steps available to Client; 17. Project Design. (a) In the performance of this Agreement, the Consultant shall, to the extent practicable, provide for maximum use of structures, machines, products, materials, construction methods, and equipment which are readily available through competitive procurement, or through standard or proven production techniques, methods and processes. (b) The Consultant shall not, in the performance of the Services called for by this Agreement, produce a design or specification such as to require the use of structures, machines, products, materials, construction methods, equipment or processes which are known by the Consultant to be available only from a sole source, unless such use has been adequately justified in writing by the Consultant and approved in writing by the County. If the County so directs, the Consultant shall obtain certain structures, machines, products, materials, construction methods, equipment or processes from the specified source. The County has the right to deny the use of structures, machines, products, materials, construction methods, equipment or processes from any source that it, in its sole discretion, deems objectionable. (c) The Consultant shall report to the County any restrictive design or specification giving the reason or reasons why it is considered necessary to restrict the design or specification.
Project Design. Seller shall determine the proposed location, design, and configuration of the Facility as it deems appropriate, subject to the Requirements, including the characteristics and other requirements for the Facility set forth in Appendix B-1, and also subject to any conditions imposed by the lead agency or any responsible agency as part of the CEQA review of the Facility and which Seller deems acceptable. Required submittals to the State are all of the above, unless otherwise noted in the Special Conditions. Submittals required for justification of payments (monthly for design, biweekly for construction) to the Subrecipient, or for review to assure conformance with the requirements of this Agreement, shall be in a format prescribed by the State’s Project Manager.
Project Design. Project design activities vary by project type but typically include: • Completion of 30% Preliminary Design and 100% Final Designs consistent with the Vermont DEC Clean Water Initiative Program (CWIP) • Completion of draft applications for any required permits (e.g, wetlands, municipal zoning permit, etc.) • Completion of cost estimates and draft bid documents • Completion of draft operations & maintenance plan and agreement(s) • Procurement and Oversight of subcontractors needed to complete design work such as engineering firms, wetland specialists, geoengineering, archeological, land surveyors, etc. • Identification and preparation of deliverables, including plans and permits; and • Documentation such as photos, plans, electronic files, etc. Project design activities must be completed in accordance with the Department of Environmental Conservation’s (DEC) CWIP funding policy and include all applicable milestones and deliverables.
Project Design. ‌ (a) Unless otherwise approved by the Owner, the ENGINEER shall specify materials, equipment, and processes which are readily available through competitive procurement and consistent with the OWNER’S requirements and applicable granting agency regulations or requirements. (b) Project design criteria should be consistent with the criteria set forth in any applicable Facilities Plan and that meets the requirements of applicable granting agency regulations or requirements.

Project Design. As a result of this Agreement, there are enhanced elements of the Project design, including enhanced walkway and courtyard areas as shown on the Project Plans and other pedestrian- oriented design elements of the Project. The public use of that certain area designated on the Project Plans as “Public Use Area” shall be: (i) consistent with the terms and conditions of this Agreement; (ii) solely for pedestrian access to and passive use of the Public Use Area by the public; and (iii) compatible with Developer’s development, use and enjoyment of the Project. No use other than pedestrian access to and passive use of the Public Use Area by the public shall be permitted on the Public Use Area. Between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., Developer may limit public access to the Public Use Area.
Project Design. Procuring all necessary architectural and engineering services related to the site work, design and engineering related to the Project, any and all engineering and impact studies or reports related to the development of the Project, and processing and obtaining all required governmental approvals.
