Transferred or Promoted Employees. An employee who is transferred or promoted who has successfully completed her/his appropriate probationary period under Article 5.1.1 shall serve a probationary period which is normally twelve (12) months; this requirement may be reduced or waived at the sole discretion of the administrative head of unit.
