Transfers Outside the Bargaining Unit. When a bargaining unit employee is promoted or transfers to a job with the Employer outside the bargaining unit, the employee shall cease to accrue seniority but shall retain the seniority he/she accumulated up to but not beyond the date he/she left the bargaining unit. Only former bargaining unit members who are employed in positions outside the bargaining unit on or before July 31, 2009, will retain seniority within the bargaining unit.
