Layoff Security Plan. If an employee is temporarily laid off, the purpose of this benefit is to provide income during the waiting period for Employment Insurance Benefits. The benefit level paid by Alcoa during this maximum two week period is set at the E.I. rate. The plan only applies in the situation of a temporary layoff and not to apply to a permanent lay off, vacation shutdown, or Christmas shutdown. The payment covers Employees under the following categories: • Permanent full-time Employees; • Employees eligible to collect employment insurance benefits The benefit is payable in a lump sum upon confirmation of Employment Insurance payment. Employees must first apply for employment insurance and receive their first payment, to qualify for receipt of this benefit. Note: this benefit can receive prior approval for payout upon confirmation of individual eligibility from the Employment Insurance Commission.

  • Safety; Security Contractor’s failure to comply with any of the requirements in this Section shall be cause for termination.

  • Provision of Security At least thirty (30) Calendar Days prior to the commencement of the procurement, installation, or construction of a discrete portion of a Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities, Developer shall provide Connecting Transmission Owner, at Developer’s option, a guarantee, a surety bond, letter of credit or other form of security that is reasonably acceptable to Connecting Transmission Owner and is consistent with the Uniform Commercial Code of the jurisdiction identified in Article 14.2.1 of this Agreement. Such security for payment shall be in an amount sufficient to cover the cost for the Developer’s share of constructing, procuring and installing the applicable portion of Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities, and shall be reduced on a dollar-for-dollar basis for payments made to Connecting Transmission Owner for these purposes.   • Authorization Required Prior to Parallel Operation 2.2.1 The NYISO, in consultation with the Connecting Transmission Owner, shall use Reasonable Efforts to list applicable parallel Operating Requirements in Attachment 5 of this Agreement. Additionally, the NYISO, in consultation with the Connecting Transmission Owner, shall notify the Interconnection Customer of any changes to these requirements as soon as they are known. The NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner shall make Reasonable Efforts to cooperate with the Interconnection Customer in meeting requirements necessary for the Interconnection Customer to commence parallel operations by the in-service date.

  • Facility Security Contractor shall keep all doors locked while working in any buildings on the site. Keys shall not be left in the doors. Contractor shall not admit any person into the building that is not a direct employee of the Contractor and not actively engaged in performance of the Work. Contractor shall restrict access to the areas of the facility not specifically included in this Contract for construction services. The Contractor shall check all windows and doors for proper closure and locking, extinguish all lights except master security lighting, and then reactivate the security system (if applicable) prior to leaving the facility.

  • Administration of Sick Leave The proper administration of sick leave is a responsibility of the employee and the department head. Unless otherwise provided in the supplemental sections of this MOU, the following procedures apply:
