Travel on a Free Day. Whenever the EMPLOYER requires that the ARTIST travel on a Free Day, and such call will be for not less than three (3) hours, and the ARTIST shall be paid at the hourly rate of ARTIST’s actual weekly compensation divided by thirty, times two. Travel between Midnight and 8:00 A.M. Whenever transportation is scheduled to commence or to conclude between the hours of midnight and 8:00 A.M., the ARTIST shall receive additional compensation of the hourly penalty rate for each half hour or fraction thereof traveled. In addition to any overtime incurred while traveling after midnight, there must be an eight (8) hour rest period for sleeping, after arrival at destination, prior to any next call. EMPLOYER shall make best efforts in not scheduling transportation between the hours of midnight and 9:00 A.M. on the morning following an evening performance. AGMA agrees that it shall waive the provisions of this sub-paragraph provided that the EMPLOYER submits to AGMA, two (2) weeks prior to any contemplated travel during the hours circumscribed in the above paragraph, a schedule of public transportation which proves that there is no available transport which leaving after 8:00

  • Loading on Annual Leave During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading calculated on the rate of wage prescribed by subclause 7.1.3. The loading shall be as follows:

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.

  • Payment of Annual Leave on Termination On the termination of their employment, an employee will be paid their untaken or pro-rata annual leave.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Duty-Free Lunch Period All teachers shall be entitled to a thirty-five (35) minute duty free lunch period.

  • Leave of Absence for Full-Time Union or Public Duties An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or anybody with which the Union is affiliated, or who is elected to public office, shall be granted leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday‌ A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with Appendix 4.

  • Payment for Working on a Holiday (The following clause is applicable to part-time employees only) The holidays listed in the part-time local Appendix for the purposes of Article 16.03(b) shall be the same holidays as are listed in the full-time Local Provisions Appendix. If an employee is required to work on any of the holidays set out in the local Appendix the employee shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) her regular straight time hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on such holiday.

  • Overtime on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she will receive compensation equal to 3.33 times her regular rate as follows:

  • Use of Sick Leave Credits An employee may draw from the employee’s sick leave credits in conjunction with Workers’ Compensation payments to equal, but not exceed, the employee’s regular daily rate of pay. When the insurance company makes payment, the Town shall be reimbursed for that portion of sick leave covered by insurance and the employee will be re-credited with the proportional amount of sick leave. An employee may not use vacation or personal leave credits to supplement Workers’ Compensation.
