Travel Time For Out-of-Town Medical Appointments. An employee who, is required to attend a medical specialist appointment or a medical service which is unavailable in their community, may access their health recovery bank to travel out-of-town to the appointment or service. One (1) travel day per occurrence may be taken to a maximum of two (2) days per calendar year. The employee must give the Employer reasonable notice and provide proof of attendance. The reporting requirements of Clause 18.02 a), b), c), d), shall apply.

  • Medical Appointments Medical appointments may be charged to sick leave, provided the minimum time charged is not less than one-half (1/2) hour. Each absence shall be reported separately and authorized in advance by the employee's immediate supervisor.

  • Medical/Dental Appointments ‌ Where medical and/or dental appointments cannot be scheduled outside the employee's working hours, sick leave with pay shall be granted.

  • Medical Appointment for Pregnant Employees 35.9.1 Up to three decimal seven five (3.75) hours of reasonable time off with pay for each appointment will be granted to pregnant employees for the purpose of attending routine medical appointments.
