Union Delegate Leave. An employee elected as a delegate to Union conventions, seminars, or training sessions shall be granted leave of absence and the employee shall continue to receive regular pay and benefits. The Union shall reimburse the Employer for all such pay and benefits when billed by the Employer. Leave of absence for these events shall be requested at least ten (10) working days in advance to the employee's exempt supervisor. Unusual circumstances (less than ten (10) working days) shall be given consideration. If more than one (1) person, from the same classification or area, is elected to attend a Union convention, seminar, or training session, where their absence may result in an area being unable to provide service, the Union will obtain approval from the exempt supervisor in the affected area. Such leave shall not be unduly withheld.
Union Delegate Leave. The two site delegates will be given time off to attend four NUW meetings per year, where the NUW notifies the delegates in writing of the date, time and place and agenda of the meeting. The delegates can leave Smithfield to allow them sufficient time to attend the meeting, and this time away from work will be paid for. The delegates are also allowed up to two days per year to attend training courses sponsored by the NUW, if both parties see the training as relevant to this site. This leave is non cumulative, and lapses if no leave is taken during the year.
Union Delegate Leave a) Warrigal recognises the role unions play in the workplace and are committed to an environment of positive relations with unions.
Union Delegate Leave. Provided adequate notice has been given, the company will grant leave with full pay to the union delegate(s) to attend formal union meetings. A union delegate shall be involved in the induction process of any new employee.
Union Delegate Leave. In agreement between Union and Company and based on business requirements Union Delegates will be released on pay (normal rate of pay including allowances) to attend official Union Delegate Meetings / Training.
Union Delegate Leave. Two (2) employees may be granted up to three (3) days leave of absence without pay in each calendar year for the purpose of attending AFSCME conventions. The granting of such request is dependent upon the needs of the Facility and the employees requesting such leave at least two (2) weeks in advance of the convention. Union employees shall be allowed to use vacation, personal days, or compensatory time for pay.

Elected Union delegates or alternates to 17 the annual conventions of the Union Council and the Biennial Conventions of the Union, 18 shall be granted time off without pay for the purpose of participation in such conventions, 19 but not to exceed six (6) days for each such convention. The number of employees shall 20 be limited to two (2) for any one (1) such convention. The Union shall notify the City prior 21 to said conventions and the employees attending same.
Union Delegate Leave. Official Union General Council delegates and members of the Union’s Statewide Board of Directors shall be allowed to use accrued vacation leave or be granted a leave of absence without pay to attend the Union General Council Meeting. Leave for this purpose shall not exceed three (3) days in any twelve (12) month period. Such leave shall be subject to supervisory approval through the same process as other requests for time off.
Union Delegate Leave. 43.1 The Employer will provide a total of 4 days per calendar year for the totality of all applications of paid trade union, union delegate training leave, attendance at association conferences, meetings and courses provided that:
