Type test. The supplier of the ecotag must provide type-test certificates for the appliances from an accredited test institute conforming compliance with all the limit values specified in the current I-ETS 300674. The ecotag for the automatic ecopoint system must guarantee the required functionality under the following operating conditions: — ambient conditions: temperature from - 25 °C to + 70 °C, — weather conditions: all eventualities, — traffic: several lanes, moving, — speed range: from ‘stop-and-go’ to 120 km/h. The above operating conditions are minimum requirements pending the adoption of (pre)standards relevant to DSRC. The ecotag may react only to microwave signals specific to its own applications. Each ecotag must have a unique identification number. In addition to the number of digits necessary to make it distinguishable, this number must also contain a check sum for integrity verification.

Type test. 3.1 The type test certificate for any item shall not be more than five (5) years old from the date of submission of the bid.
3.2 The Employer may get the Type test or routine tests of any equipment done at Accredited Laboratory by NABL in the country. The type test may be done even after receipt of materials at contractor’s site store but not after the guarantee period for the equipment as described elsewhere. The results of such tests will be decided on pass fail basis. In case the equipment fails to pass the Type test , the cost of such test shall be borne by the Contractor.
3.3 The Bidder /manufacturing programme shall not be interrupted merely because the plant/equipment has been offered for inspection.
3.4 Specification for individual plant /equipment is subject to the conditions mentioned above.
3.5 The bidder shall prior to use any material in execution of the work for which technical specification have not been mentioned will use any material after obtaining necessary approval of GTP & Drawing from SE(DDUGJY),A.V.V.N.L., Ajmer.
3.6 If bidder intend to use any material with superior specification then that as specified in the bid document. The prior approval of SE(DDUGJY), A.V.V.N.L., Ajmer shall be obtained before use and the rates for such substitution will be limited to as per the awarded rates.
Type test. Randomly selected samples of capacitor units shall be subjected to the type tests, in accordance with IEC 60831-1%2. and must include (at least) following tests:
I. Thermal stability tests II. Measurement of the tangent of the losses angle at elevated temperature. III. Voltage test between terminals IV. Voltage test between terminals and container V. Lightning impulse voltage test between terminals and container VI. Discharge test VII. Ageing test VIII. Self-healing test
Type test. Suppliers shall provide all type tests as per IEC standard for the particular requirement item in the tender.
Type test. CERTIFICATES The Bidder shall furnish the type test certificates for the tests as mentioned above as per the corresponding standards. All the tests shall be conducted at CPRI/ERDA as per relevant standard. Type tests should have been conducted during the period not exceeding 5 years from the date of opening the bid. In the event of any discrepancy in the test reports, i.e. any test report not acceptable, same shall be carried out without any cost implication to TPSODL.
