Types of Grievance. (a) an individual grievance is a grievance initiated by the Association on behalf of an individual Staff Member; (b) a group grievance is a grievance initiated by the Association on behalf of a group of Staff Members similarly affected by the Board’s action; (c) a policy grievance is a grievance by the Association which may involve a matter of general policy or of general application of this agreement. In addition, the President may claim a grievance on behalf of The Board. In the event that the President claims a grievance against the Association, the President shall present the grievance in writing to the Association. If the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the President within fifteen (15) working days of the Association having received the grievance, the President may refer the matter to arbitration hereunder.
