Unemployment Compensation and Layoff. A contract teacher who is laid off under the provisions of this Agreement, paid unemployment compensation benefits associated with his/her regular teaching assignment during the summer immediately following the layoff, and subsequently recalled to a similar position be the Monday following the fourth Friday of the next school year, will be paid his/her annual salary rate as if the teacher had been employed the entire school year, reduced, however, by the amount of the unemployment compensation he/she received during the summer immediately following the layoff. Any such reduction of the total annual salary rate shall be prorated over the entire school year.

  • Unemployment Compensation The Contractor shall be solely responsible for the unemployment compensation payments on behalf of their employees and personnel. The Contractor shall not be entitled to unemployment compensation in connection with the Services performed under this Agreement.

  • Employment Compensation Schedule 3.16 contains a true and correct list of all employees to whom Company is paying compensation, including bonuses and incentives, at an annual rate in excess of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000) for services rendered or otherwise; and in the case of salaried employees such list identifies the current annual rate of compensation for each employee and in the case of hourly or commission employees identifies certain reasonable ranges of rates and the number of employees falling within each such range.

  • WORKERS' COMPENSATION BENEFITS In accordance with Section 142 of the State Finance Law, this contract shall be void and of no force and effect unless the Contractor shall provide and maintain coverage during the life of this contract for the benefit of such employees as are required to be covered by the provisions of the Workers' Compensation Law.

  • Unemployment Insurance Unemployment Insurance coverage will be provided during the life of this Agreement for regular and auxiliary employees who would, if employed by a private employer, be eligible for such coverage under the provisions of the Unemployment Insurance Act.
