Common use of Uniform Allowance Clause in Contracts

Uniform Allowance. (a) The Employer agrees to pay a uniform allowance of seven cents ($0.07) per hour, such amount not to form part of the regular hourly rate for purposes of overtime and paid holiday premiums. (b) The uniform allowance will not be paid on each cheque but will be accumulated and the total annual accumulation will be paid by the last pay period in December of each year.
