Union Agents. Authorized agents of the Union will request and have access to the Employer's establishments for the purposes of investigating conditions related to Union contract clauses.
Union Agents. The Association recognizes solely the Union's Business Manager and Business Agent(s) as being authorized to act for or on behalf of the Union in any matter whatsoever under the terms of this Agreement. The actions, declarations or conduct of any other person except those herein named, whether performed or made with respect to the Union or not, are not and shall not be considered to be the acts of any officers or agents of the Union and shall not constitute any authorized acts for or on behalf of the Union, nor will the Employer nor the Union recognize these persons as the Union's officers or agents for that purpose.

Authorized Agents of the Union will request and have access to the Employer's establishments for the purpose of investigating conditions related to the Union contract clauses The Union shall appoint or elect Shop Stewards and shall notify the Employer writing of the appointment or election. The Employer shall only recognize such Shop Stewards when notified in writing by the Union and shall not discriminate against them for lawful Union activity. Shop Stewards will suffer no loss of regular pay when processing grievances under Steps and of the Grievance Procedure during their regular working hours. The Employer will notify the Union prior to the dismissal of any Shop Xxxxxxx, or as shortly thereafter as possible The Employer shall allow time off without pay to any employee who is serving on a Union committee or as a delegate, providing all requests for time off are reasonable and do not interfere with the proper operation of the business, and provided forty-eight (48) hours written notice is given to the Employer by the Union specifying the length of time off.
