UNION COMMITTEE AND REPRESENTATION. 8.01 (a) Where negotiations are conducted on a joint basis for any or all of the Employer's retirement lodges for any renewal or extension of this Agreement, the Union may elect or otherwise select a negotiating committee consisting of one (1) representative from each retirement lodge. An employee and member of the negotiating committee shall be paid his regular rate for all regularly scheduled working hours lost due to attending negotiation meetings with management up to the time application is made for conciliation services and the services of the conciliation officer are used.
