UNION MEMBERSHIP AND DUES CHECK-OFF. 8.01 Except as outlined in Article 3 of this Agreement, all Employees who are employed by the Employer in classifications covered by this Agreement shall become members of the Union as a condition of employment. An Employee who has a religious objection to becoming a member of the Union shall be permitted to opt out of membership by providing the Union with a signed statutory declaration outlining the objections within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the date of commencement of employment, but such Employees shall continue to pay Union dues.
