Common use of Union Rights/Membership Clause in Contracts

Union Rights/Membership. All employees shall, as a condition of employment, either maintain their union membership or join the union within thirty (30) days after the ratification of this Agreement and shall remain Union members in good standing. Employees hired subsequent to the ratification of this Agreement shall become union members as of the first day of work, as a condition of employment, and shall remain union members in good standing. The Employer shall provide the union with all necessary information relating to the following matters for employees within the bargaining unit on a current basis.
