Common use of UNION SECURITY Clause in Contracts

UNION SECURITY. ‌ (a) All employees in the bargaining unit who, prior to September 1, 1995, were members of the Union or thereafter become members of the Union shall, as a condition of continued employment, maintain such membership. (b) All employees hired on or after September 1, 1995 shall, as a condition of continued employment, become members of the Union and maintain such membership.
